Come quilt with me at Libby Lane!

I’ve been sewing since I was very young. Several years ago, my husband bought me a 6-needle embroidery machine that perked my interest in quilting. After using an Anita Goodesign quilt design to complete a quilt for my mother-in-law, I became interested in quilting without the embroidery machine. This started my quilting journey.

I can be very critical of my work but am trying very hard to give myself the opportunity to learn. For example, this panel was the first panel I free-motioned feathers. It is not perfect; however, I’m using it as a learning tool and plan to do another one in six-months to compare growth.

I’m excited to be able to share my successes and failures with you as a learning experience to help you in your quilting, sewing, or embroidery journey. I look forward to your involvement through comments and sharing of your experience as we journey together through this learning experience.
